The Leadership Building at Buckley is a 16,000 sf multipurpose facility with seating capacity for 500 people. The building is used for instruction, meetings, and conferences. The exterior of the building was designed to blend and complement the existing architecture of the base. The building was constructed to be LEED Silver.![]() |

Utilities Upgrade |
The
project included total design and construction including boring beneath
existing horizontal construction with significant vehicle and pedestrian
traffic. The project needed to be extensively phased to minimize the impact
to the base. |

368 Renovation |
The project
included total design and construction of the area for use by the members of
the 15 MUNS. The base requirements for design and construction included the
renovation of a work area and the creation of a Munitions Control room placed
within a historical building. The integrity and character of the historical
building was to be maintained throughout the project. |

Construct
Water Line Under I-90 |
The project
consisted of boring a 54" steel casing that will carry a new 16"
restrained joint PVC pipe. The project included valves, valve boxes, and
other appurtenances at various locations. Also included in the project was
removal and abandonment of existing water mains. The construction also
included connecting to existing water mains, parking lot repair, fence
removal and replacement, seeding and surface restoration. |

Thermal
Energy Storage Test Facility—Steam Module, SolarTAC |
Design,
fabricate, and install a thermal energy storage test system to support the
development, testing and evaluation of novel thermal energy storage materials
and systems. Thermal energy will be supplied to candidate TES systems via an
independent loop: as high-temperature, high-pressure steam. The systems will
be able to thermally cycle a TES system under conditions that replicate a CSP
power plant. |

Bent County Detention facility
includes a Jail, Sheriff's Department, Sheriff's Garage and Ambulance
Garage. First phase of building is designed for 38 inmates with expansion
capacity of up to 68 inmates on a second tier. The facility includes

was expanded to 102-bed. Could be further expanded. The structure
was built utilizing masonry, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, and

in the dispatch area. |

facility, wetcrafts room, lounges, locker rooms, and offices. |

interior of the planetarium was designed as a teaching facility and to house
the 40-foot telescope. |
